Principal Designer & Founder

Meet the Namesake

Hanna’s career has never lived in one lane. Her work has spanned real estate, development, staging, and design—shaping a nuanced understanding of what it takes to bring a home together, from the unseen to the finished.

Based in Charleston for over a decade, Hanna began by staging homes at scale, preparing hundreds of properties for market. It was a hands-on education in how people experience space—what draws them in and what holds value. From there, her work expanded into development, including projects of her own.

That range of experience informs a perspective that looks beyond surface-level design to consider how a home is built, how it functions, and how it will live over time.

Her perspective is rooted in a deeper, more personal foundation. Construction has long been a constant in her life, with her brother continuing a five-generation lineage in the trades, while an early appreciation for materials and craftsmanship was shaped by her great-grandparents, who once owned the largest furniture store in Colorado.

Hanna founded Hanna Geiger Interiors in 2019 to bring these influences into a more intentional practice—approaching each project not just as a space to design, but as something to be shaped thoughtfully from the inside out, with a focus on how it will function, age, and be lived in.

Her work continues to evolve in the same way it always has—guided by curiosity, a drive to keep learning, and an ongoing exploration of how design can extend beyond the expected.
